EKWB releases two new slim radiators in 140/280mm

By: Anthony Garreffa | More News: Cases, Cooling & PSU | Posted: 1 week ago

EK Water Blocks has just announced they've released two new slim radiators, with the CoolStream Slim 140mm and 280mm radiators ready for a new breed of watercooled gaming rigs.

The new EK-CoolStream SE 140 and EK-CoolStream SE 280 will allow EKWB to fill gaps in their product stack between the high-performance and larger radiators, with the new slimmed down models for smaller/trickier to build PCs. There are plenty of case manufacturers moving towards the 140mm fan form factor, so EK is staying ahead of the curve with the new CoolStream Slim products.

EK's new CoolStream Slim radiators are exactly 140/280mm in width, so they will fit perfectly into a 140mm fan spot in your case. The new radiators continue the slick EK-CoolStream design, with a black/silver style that looks slick as hell. The square housing has been evenly coated with black matte paint, while the fins feature a super thin layer of black coating for a super-clean look.

  • Copper fins
  • 90% copper tubing (H90)
  • Brass chambers
  • Aluminum/Steel housing
  • FPI: 22
  • Port threads: 2x G1/4"

EK Water Blocks has new terminals for multi-GPU setups

By: Anthony Garreffa | More News: Cases, Cooling & PSU | Posted: 1 week, 1 day ago

EK Water Blocks continues to forge forward as the world leader in high-end liquid cooling products for the PC, with their latest release in new terminals for multiple Full-Cover GPU water blocks.

EKWB's new design is more minimalistic than previous units, with the terminal featuring an engraved EK logo... and that's it. EK has redesigned the X-series terminals in the form of connectivity, with all of the ports being flush with the body of the terminal. This means that there's no more recessed ports, so there's no need to buy more extender fittings.

The new X-series terminals do everything their predecessor did, but were redesigned with some of the quirks ironed out. The design is more streamlined with the single EK logo, with options for Parallel or Serial terminals for connecting up your EKWB Full-Cover GPU waterblock with the new Terminal X-series. EK has used X-number labeling as a way to work out which GPU waterblocks that are a certain terminal can connect. EK-FC Terminal X2 S can connect up two GPU watrerblocks, in Serieal configuration for example.
